Great advice. I suffer from Chronic pain as well. Mostly in my legs. I take strong opioid based medication, which helps a lot. But, in the mornings when I take my medication i experience about an hour – two hours of withdrawal compiled with severe pain until the medication kicks in. Thankfully, playing games during that time significantly helps divert my mind from the pain.

I have been using a Marble mouse for years. However, unlike many I cannot get used to using my thumb to left click. I normally control the ball with my middle and ring finger and click with my forefinger and pinky.

On the Marble Mouse I am hitting just the tip of the teardrop shaped button and on the newer models that button seems to wear out and not click consistently unless I deliberately try to click in the center of the button.

I do not want to reach for the buttons so aside from programmed functions I would’nt use the two forward buttons on the Expert.

Along with a need for a scroll wheel in games such as Skyrim I am looking for a trackball that I can use as I describe clicking with my forefinger and pinky.

Will the Kensington Expert fit my usage habits?

Of course, Beyond Divinity is a very good game, but personally i liked Divine divinity better. Also, i could mention the Fate series (ex.: Fate – Undiscovered realms), and i didn’t speak about Sacred yet.

There is one more game, called Nox, but it’s much more RPG like, compared to DiabloII

Although they are are different genres, less we forget Guardian heroes or the cult classic Golden Axe!

Not a bad list, although I would have put Darkstone on, personally. That was one of the best Hack ‘n’ Slash games behind Diablo (and maybe Titan Quest).

Loaded up Diablo yesterday in preparation for Diablo 3, and got some Multiplayer in with Mike using a few nefarious hacks. I’ll tell you right now… the game is, if anything, harder than I remember it. We played on Normal and died at least 5 times, each, by the time we reached The Butcher on level 2.
