Admittedly, we only played the one game, so that's all I had to go on. Your point is duly noted though, I'll be sure to keep an eye out on subsequent playthroughs! Out of 5 games, the DM has never won once. We messed up a couple of rules which means the DM should probably have won one or two of those games, but with wizards that cast debuffs that the DM can't remove (other than boss timeout), and that Paladin potion that heals three hearts *plus* is a remedy, a DM doesn't stand much of a chance. Especially when the heroes topdeck a resurrection pendant when you finally kill one. :( Still, it's really fun. It takes *way* longer than it says on the box in my experience. It's two hours for a 3-hero game. It's like 4 hours for a 5-hero game. I find that the game is not tipped in favor of the DM. Out of 5 games, the DM has never won once.
