So close…

Spore arrives in a matter of days.  There are already a couple of reviews that have hit the web, and they are mostly quite positive.  As expected, there are some issues…but that doesn’t surprise me.  I find it nigh impossible that a game like this was even attempted, much less made.

I had been distracted the past few days from my 360, so last night I finally finished off Lost Planet.  The game itself was a LOT of fun to play, but I really wish they either had no story at all or they didn’t half-ass it so badly.  I will say, though, that even today I think this may well be one of the best if not the best overall looking game on the 360, no contest.  The explosions are fantastic, the Akrid have great animation and textures, and the snow storms believable.

Assassin’s Creed is the next game up on the docet, as well as Spore once it gets released.  Also, I’m working on an article right now about how to deal with all these games coming out in such a short period of time.  I will hopefully have it finished in the next couple of days.
