Taking the rest of the week off

Unless some major news story drops, we’re going to be taking the rest of the week off here at Living With a Nerd.  No special reason, we just need some time away.  I leave you with this picture of a storm front that moved through here (Maryland) yesterday.

Details on Radeon 6750 and 6770

A spec sheet has been released (or leaked), outlining ATI’s next Radeon cards, the 6750 and 6770.  Considering the 6750 and 6770 are both midrange SKU’s, and considering they are challenging ATI’s current single-GPU kings of the hill (5850 and 5870), I can’t WAIT to see what they have up their sleeve for the high-end in the 6xxx series.

Civilization V is almost upon us

Tomorrow marks a joyous day: Civilization V will finally be released to the masses.  I’ve spent unknown amounts of time with the Civilization series, and I can’t wait to continue the tradition with Civilization V.  Our review will likely be posted around a week or so after its release, so keep an eye out.
